Based in Travemünde, Germany, I lead MARORG, a consultancy specializing in management systems, process analysis, and training for the maritime, logistics, and manufacturing sectors.

With a Master’s License and an M.Sc in Maritime Management, I’ve held diverse roles -Navigational Officer, Designated Person Ashore (DPA), Chief Quality Officer, and Managing Director – successfully implementing ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001), maritime codes (ISM, ISPS, MLC 2006), and ERP systems for organizations worldwide.

Training is a cornerstone of my career. Since 2018, I’ve been a Senior Trainer at DNV Maritime Academy, designing and delivering advanced courses on auditing, risk management, and integrated management systems, including top-sellers like „Designated Person Ashore (DPA)“ and „Internal Auditor for Integrated Management Systems.“ Since 2022, I’ve also served as a Course Facilitator for the Nautical Institute, developing programs such as „Maritime Incident Investigation“, „Maritime Risk Management“ and „Safety Officer.“ Drawing on my extensive experience as an auditor and practitioner, I ensure participants gain practical, actionable skills through a hands-on approach.

As an innovator, I developed the MARORG management system tools, including the „Marine Incident Investigation Tool,“ a key component of the Nautical Institute’s „Maritime Incident Investigation“ course. As an entrepreneur, I also founded a venture, pioneering innovative composite technologies.

What truly drives me is the fusion of maritime expertise with cutting-edge technology -particularly artificial intelligence (AI). I’m passionate about leveraging AI to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, analyze processes, and improve safety in maritime operations. From smarter management systems to AI-supported incident investigation and risk analysis, I’m dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in this field.
